What inspired you to work in this field?

After being 15 years in active addiction, I wanted to give back what I have lost in addiction. I have found that my passion is people, and it is extremely rewarding giving back.

What motivated you to join the team?

I love the passion and love that Pace brings to the party. They honestly do care and are dedicated to changing people’s lives.

What unique qualities or experience do you bring to your role?

I am a very relaxed and caring person, and my positive energy rubs off on other people.

What aspects of your job do you find most rewarding?

When a person comes here broken and leaves as a brand-new human being, excited for a new life.

Memorable success story?

We had a very difficult client that wanted to leave the program on several occasions. I convinced him to stay in the end. He now has a job, still sober and even started a N.A. meeting.

What do you find challenging working in this field?

People that are not grateful for this opportunity to change their lives and feel victimized by their circumstances.

What values or principles guide your approach to supporting the clients?

What is your personal mission statement?

I had to experience addiction to appreciate living life in recovery, my hope is in sharing my experience to help others find their way back home. From merely existing to living.

I love nature and hiking. Working out, fishing and cooking.

Outside of work, what are some of your interests or hobbies?
