I am grateful for the opportunity given to fight for this life.

I have learned so much at PRC Recovery. There is life after addiction, I am grateful for the opportunity given to fight for this life. I will continue having faith in my Higher Power and will carry the message of hope. We do recover. I love the new me!

Individual Counselling

I did not find it easy to open up to Persty in the beginning. She did however help me deal with challenges constructively. I am very thankful my sister, keep helping other addicts with that spirit. Well done, it is all up to me now.

Group Counselling

Kerileng taught me how to deal with guilt. Talented sister, God bless you. Megan, damn she taught me about internal and external triggers and cravings, it was what I needed to hear. She has been through a lot as well so it was easy to relate. Thanks a million sweet girl. Onthene, she is more like our mom in rehab, she taught me about cross-addiction, being aware of it. Thanks mom from rehab, may God grant you the strength to do more. I appreciate you all.

Step Work Counselling

Morne, we discussed my progress and my step work and he gave me the go ahead to do my life story, he has been through hell with me. Easy to talk to, man to man. What a gentleman, a very useful coach and wise. Morne was helpful and supportive, he has experience in coaching and does a good job. Thanks a lot brother.

Facility

Beds where not so comfy, the gym needs attention. I suggest more sport activities to keep busy.

Meals

More pap during the week. Perfect diet, thanks a lot to staff and mam Suzen for cooking for us.

Fellowship

People are easy to talk to and share as we have the same disease. Thanks to the fellows for welcoming me and showing me the do's and don'ts.

General

I would suggest getting an onsite nurse to monitor the addicts, security at the gate and more random room searches.

What Makes PRC Different?

The 12 step program they offer here. NA unity days, social workers who live on the property. The staff is very helpful when the disease wants to take over, they are friendly and willing to listen. Able to bring you back to your senses.
